Events Leading Up to the Civil War...
We all know that the civil war did not just happen. A number of important events contributed to the tensions between the North & South and a number of important people influenced these events. For this project:
You will create a video about the events leading up to the civil war. Each group will film a "Next time on..." preview for some kind of TV show which will feature or discuss the events that lead up to the civil war. You may choose to create a reality/elimination show, news broadcast, sitcom, soap opera, talk show, variety show etc. The kind of show is up to you, but your video must be no more than 2 minutes in length, so a preview is most appropriate.
To create this video:
- Form a group & choose your roles
- Choose a genre for your video: What type of preview will you recreate?
- Choose your event or person.
- Tell Ms. Smith about your project here.
- Write a script and create a story board for your video.
- Film & edit your video.
- Complete the reflection assignment.
